dc.descriptionA selection of texts from the Anglo-Norman Dictionary's Textbase that were personally transcribed by the Anglo-Norman Dictionary's team. These texts were used to underpin the lexicographical work performed to create the Anglo-Norman Dictionary. To view the transcriptions on the Anglo-Norman Dictionary's website, visit the demo uri. This deposit comprises of thirteen texts. These are unpublished Anglo-Norman text materials that were transcribed by the Anglo-Norman Dictionary's team. These texts include: Les Aprises Salamon (Oxford, Bodleian Library, Bodley 82, fols 3r-6v) transcription provided by Jennifer Gabel de Aguirre. Exaltaciun de la Sainte Cruiz (London, British Library, Egerton 613, fols 27v-29v) transcription provided by Heather Pagan and Geert De Wilde. The Fifteen Signs of the Day of Judgement (Prose Version) (London, British Library, Egerton 613, fol. 30r) transcription provided Geert De Wilde. The Gospel of Nicodemus (Prose Version) (London, British Library, Egerton 613, fols. 13v-21r) transcription provided by Jennifer Gabel de Aguirre and Geert De Wilde. The Invention of the Cross (London, British Library, Egerton 613, fols. 25r-27v) transcription provided by Geert De Wilde. Littleton’s Treatise on Tenures Littleton’s (BL, Digital Store G.2190 (1)) transcription provided by Geert De Wilde. Prayers for the destruction of enemies and slanderous tongues (Cambridge, Trinity College Library, B.11.27, ff. 236v-38v) transcription provided by Emma Cavell.
