Cromwell's press agent : a critical biog. of Marchamont Nedham, 1980, p. 68 The Revels hist. of drama in Eng., 1981, v. 4, p. 286-7. p. 28 [i.e. 10]-[32] numbered incorrectly. Part I was signed Mercurius Melancholicus. The two parts are by the same author, the dedicatory poem at the beginning of the second part being headed "To the readers of my former peece." Cf. BM.
