Imprint from colophon. Editor's preface, signed Licentius Evangelus [pseud.] and dated 1522, is variously attributed to Beatus Rhenanus, Valentinus Curio, and Ulrich Zwingli. Quire a has an extra leaf containing a translator's note. Leaf d4 is cancelled. Leaf 140 misnumbered 1340. The last leaf bears Marshall's coat of arms on both recto and verse.
