dc.description.abstractDedication signed: Tho. Heyvv., i.e. Thomas Heywood. The words "Three Iewes. .. Three Christians." are bracketed together on the title page. The plates are engraved by George Glover nine of them (excepting that of Queen Henrietta Maria) were issued separately with verses as "The nine woemen worthys" (STC 11921.6). Reproduction of the original in the Folger Shakespeare Library.
