dc.description.abstractThe corpus contains 1.5 million words of Old English prose taken from the Toronto Dictionary of Old English Corpus, with special formatting which makes it possible to search conveniently for syntactic structure using a computer search engine. Further information relating to the nature of the corpus and the search engine can be found at: http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~lang22/YcoeHome1.htm The corpus is based on the electronic text of the Dictionary of Old English Corpus, available at: www.doe.utoronto.ca
