dc.description.abstractThe words "Hero and Leander:" are bracketed together on title page. With an additional title page, engraved, signed: W Marshall sculp. Signatures: pi¹ A-F¹² (-F12). The first leaf bears verses on the frontispiece. "Leander's letter to Hero, and her ansvver: taken out of Ovid" has separate dated title page register is continuous. F11 is in two settings: with errata on (1) recto or (2) verso. Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
