dc.description.abstractChelidonius Tigurinus is probably a pseudonym. Translation of: L'histoire de Chelidonius Tigurinus sur l'institution des princes chrestiens, & origine des royaumes. The prologue, "A treatise of peace and war", and "Of the dignitie of mariage" are by Boaistuau. Identified as STC 3165 on UMI microfilm reel 176. Reproductions of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery. Appears at reel 176 and at reel 1343 (same copy filmed twice).
