dc.description.abstractOn p. 503, "translated into English by E.M.B.", i.e. Edmund Maria Bolton, who signs his pseudonym "Philanactophil" to the dedication. Translation of: Epitome rerum Romanarum. The title page is engraved and signed "Sim Pass scu.", i.e. Simon van de Pass the frieze contains the words "The face of L. Florus histories". Running title reads: L. Florus his histories. The last leaf is blank. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
