dc.description.abstractTranscription of letters from Elizabeth Gwillim and Mary Symonds, 1801-1807 British Library APAC IOR Mss.Eur.C.240/1-4. These transcriptions were made by members of the Gwillim Project (2019-2022) from images of the original manuscripts in the India Office Records held in the APAC division of the British Library (Mss.Eur.C.240/1-4). The names of the letters and the page numbers (in bold parentheses) correspond to those in the scanned copies of the letters. The original manuscript and folio numbers are given in brackets at the beginning of each letter.
