dc.description.abstractDedication signed: Antony Munday. The pamphlets referred to were the anonymous "L'histoire de la mort que le R.P. Edmond Campion .. & autres ont souffert en Angleterre", and "A true reporte of the death & martyrdome of M. Campion Jesuite and preiste, & M. Sherwin, & M. Bryan priestes, at Tiborne the first of December 1581" by Thomas Alfield. Partly in verse. Signatures: A-E. The first leaf is blank except for signature-mark "A.1." the last leaf is blank. Running title reads: An aunswer to a trayterous libell. A variant of the edition with "Imprinted .. for Edward White" in imprint. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
