dc.description.abstractH.H. = Henry Holland. The title page is engraved by Crispijn van de Passe the portraits are engraved by Willem and Magdalena van de Passe. The first "o" in "Herōologia" is a Greek omega. Printer's and publisher's names from STC. With a final contents leaf. Variant: with an unsigned leaf of verses by I. Gruterus inserted in the first quire. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
